Transvestism

The transvestite is most often a heterosexual male, often married who cross dresses in order to achieve fill sexual and emotional release. Many cross dressers start this behavior at an early age, and usually their behavior is accompanied by masturbation. These people seldom come in contact with the justice system, as this behavior is practiced in the privacy of their own homes. However in many cases the cross dressing progresses to public places and can even become an individuals mode of dress.

While the cross dresser is dressed as a woman, he retreats to the woman's world, which he perceives as peaceful and stress-less. Whilst a transvestite is usually heterosexual, married and receives sexual gratification from dressing up as a woman, a drag queen on the other hand cross dresses to portray social roles and is usually homosexual, although not always.
