Gerontophilia
Gerontophilia is a paraphilia (sexual disorder) that involves the use of an elderly person as a sexual object. When a young man assaults an elderly woman, this falls within the category of sadistic gerontosexuality. Studies have shown that the offender typically has the following traits;
obsessive personality
a history of enuresis (incontinence) until the age of 25
a lack of interest in younger woman
an inability to contain impulses
a tendency to be sexually aggressive and violent
Only 3% of rapes involve women over the age of 50. When an elderly woman is raped, the threat to life is bigger, and the rape usually ends up in murder.
Gerontophilia occurs in both men and women, but when it occurs in men, it turns out to be more dangerous. Woman are more motivated by material other then physical motives.
