Studies have shown that boys are more likely then girls to develop ADHD in childhood and early adolescence and ADHD is found across most cultures. The symptoms of ADHD persist into adulthood for 66 percent of those diagnosed with ADHD during childhood. As adults, people with ADHD are more likely to develop antisocial personality disorder, substance abuse, marital problems, traffic accidents, and frequent job changes.
